What is your rate per hour?

We do not charge by the hour, we charge by the piece or session.  This works out better for both artist and client because it removes pressure about time and time constraints.  At SURF n Ink we want the best results for each of our clients and strive every day to do just that.  It is best to come in and chat with us about your design and we’ll be able to give you a quote.  Remember tho, that tattoos are for life, so choosing an artist who’s skills and style are best for you should be your sole deciding factor when choosing your artist.

How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?

Queensland legislation states that it is illegal to tattoo anyone under the age of 18.  Sorry, but we won’t break the law for you!  18 will come faster that you realize anyway!

How old do you have to be to get a piercing?

As a shop policy, all body piercing clients must be over the age of 18.  We will perform ear piercing on clients over the age of 15.

How do I make an appointment?

Appointments can be made in person or over the phone.  Consultations are free but to have a design drawn or to book an appointment, a $50 - $100 deposit is required (this can be made by credit card over the phone).  Your deposit goes towards the cost of your tattoo.  If you need to reschedule, please call at least 48 hours in advance.
